Pisco won gold and silver medals at the prestigious 'Vinalies Internationales' wine and (grape-based) spirits tasting contest held in Paris from 29th February to 4th March of this year.
Pisco producers 'Viña Vieja Viña Santa Isabel' won gold medals for two of its wine designations and silver for two others. Silver winners included 'Bodegas y Viñedos Tabernero', 'Viña Ocucaje' and 'Agroindustrial Tres Generaciones'.
The competition, one of the most recognized worldwide events in its field, was organized by the Union des Oenologues de France, and brought together a panel of 7 professional judges as per the rules laid down by the International Wine and Vineyard Organization.
