ALL-PARTY PARLIAMENTARY GROUP FOR PERU WAS CREATED AT THE BRITISH PARLIAMENT ON 25 FEBRUARY

Last Monday, 25th February, the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Peru was created in a ceremony at Westminster Palace.

The members of Parliament, John Grogan - coordinator for the Group - and Mark Menzies highlighted the importance of the group to strengthen bonds between UK and Peru.

The ceremony had the presence of the Governor of the Central Bank of Peru, Julio Velarde, the Mayor of Lima, Jorge Muñoz, and the high level delegation of business representatives and government officials from Peru that came to London on the occasion of the investment road show inPERU 2019 and the Second Meeting of the Peru - UK Infrastructure Task Force.

Members of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Peru also include Greg Hands MP - former Minister of State for Trade Policy, who visited Peru in 2017 - Chris Matheson MP, Baroness Gloria Hooper, Baroness Jean Coussins, Lord Purvis of Tweed and Mark Garnier MP.
